How to stop living fast, and start living slower
If you think that there's an answer to the question from the title in this article, I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you. It's a cry for help.
My brain is on autopilot.
Luckily, I found a solution that works for me.
On a day when I: 0. Sleep well
- Wake up early
- Go for a walk
- Do a workout / go for a run
- Meditate
- Eat clean
I'm properly mindful and it shows in how I approach various work-related challenges and how I act with others around me (family, SO, and so on).
The problem is that I do that for a day, two, maybe a week, and it feels surreal. So. Damn. Good.
But for the last 3 years, I've never managed to stick to it for longer than a month. I keep going up, and down, and up, and down, and it's just painful.
