Anxiety is a workout

That's pretty much how I feel.

Feeling anxious is like a workout. I've spent most of yesterday feeling anxious about an upcoming appointment. It affected how I got work done, it affected what I ate, it affected what I did.

The anxiety peeked this morning when I attended that appointment.

Afterwards, as always, it felt like there was nothing to be anxious about. The world changed color, it became vibrant, clear, and fun to live in.

But that wasn't the end. Right after that feeling of joy, I've experienced a heavy energy crash that led to a headache, lack of productivity and tiredness.

It's difficult to put it into words but it feels like anxiety is a workout that does you no good.

Now that I've acknowledged this, it is time to fix it. In the end, it's all in my head.
